Reserved for investigation/reportage video projects in progress and pre-production, focusing on Italy or events in which Italy plays a substantial part. The project description and budget must be sent using the form online and must be accompanied by a teaser video of maximum duration 3 minutes which must present the subject, characters, setting and writing style. The language required for project documents and the video is English.
The authors of the 10 finalist projects will present their projects to the Jury and a public of observers consisting of buyers, broadcasters, commissioning editors and producers, in a public pitching session which will take place in Riccione on Friday 24 June 2016. During the pitching the authors will have 7 minutes to present - in English – the content of the project, plus 3 more minutes to show the teaser. The presentation will be followed by session for questions by the Jury.
Besides the quality and originality of the subject, the Jury will also consider the actual feasibility of the project and its economic sustainability. The finalists selected (a maximum of 2 per team) will be hosted at Riccione. (Travel costs excluded).
